When does it meet?

Junior Johns meet during the 10.30am morning service.

The young people are invited to sit altogether at the front of the church with their relevant leaders.

Often the Minister will give a brief children¹s address before they leave the service after 10-15mins.

Junior Johns have a time of singing and praying together in the church hall before going to their groups for fun bible based activities. The songs have lots of actions and are normally accompanied by our JJs Band.

Junior Johns finishes at 11.45am.

PJs (Primary Johns) Years 1-2
MJs (Middle Johns) Years 3-6
SJs (Senior Johns) Years 7-9
PAPA Johns Years 10-13

Creche

A crèche is provided every week for pre-school children.


Communion Service

On the first Sunday in the month we meet in our groups first and then join the rest of our church family for the end of their Communion Service.

The young people go to the front of the church with their leaders and if they would like to, can share the bread and non-alcoholic wine.

The meaning of the bread and wine is always explained to the young people during their time together in the church hall beforehand.


Family Service

Once a month we stay in church for a Family Service. We are joined by our uniformed groups who parade before and after the service.

The service is always on a theme that is relevant to the young people and usually involves lots of participation!

The Family Service is on the second Sunday in the month and only the Little Johns meet on this Sunday.
